Webfolio® is designed for organizations that manage complex investment structures across multiple asset classes. Absolutely. Webfolio® supports complex structures such as Funds of Funds, SPVs, and multi-entity portfolios. It enables consolidation across custodians and administrators, provides full look-through analysis, and supports jurisdiction-specific compliance, accounting, and reporting requirements.

Webfolio® is a transaction-based system that also maintains full holdings data. All portfolio positions, valuations, and exposures are derived directly from underlying transactions (subscriptions, redemptions, trades, distributions, FX operations, etc.). This ensures a complete audit trail and enables accurate reconciliation, NAV calculation, and compliance monitoring at every level.

Webfolio® supports a wide range of asset classes and instruments, including equities, ETFs, Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Real Estate (Funds & Physical Buildings), Infrastructure Debts, Public and Private Fixed Income, Derivatives (Options, Futures, Swaps), FX, Loans and Certificates. The platform accommodates both public and private market instruments and supports custom asset types when required. Currently, purely digital assets such as cryptocurrencies are not natively supported but can be tracked through user-defined instruments.

Yes. Webfolio® supports multi-class and multi-series structures with full transparency and consolidation. It can model master-feeder and multi-tranche funds, automatically propagating data and performing consolidated reporting across all layers.

Absolutely. Webfolio® allows users to record and monitor holdings and exposures at both asset and portfolio levels. Its look-through capabilities let you aggregate exposures across funds, ETFs, and direct holdings, ensuring consistent portfolio-wide analysis.

Yes. Webfolio® includes a fully integrated shareholder register within its portfolio and CRM modules. It supports investor accounts, subscriptions/redemptions, drawdowns, capital calls, distributions, and automated fee, rebate and commission calculations.

Yes. The liquidity module supports complex redemption and subscription terms, including multi-tiered lockups, gates, notice periods, penalties, and flow restrictions. These parameters can be configured at the asset, position, or portfolio level.

Yes. Webfolio supports multi-source pricing through integrations with data providers like Bloomberg, Refinitiv, MSCI, and others. It can store concurrent quotes from different sources and manage delayed or custom pricing as needed.

Yes. The modeling module enables the creation of model portfolios, scenario analysis, and rebalancing tools. It can automatically generate and validate reweighting orders aligned with target allocations or benchmarks.

Yes. Webfolio supports FX hedging using spot, forward, swap, and NDF operations. It calculates currency exposures across cash, investments, and internal flows, and allows automated creation and rollover of hedging operations.

Yes. Webfolio’s compliance engine enforces both pre- and post-trade rules, including quantitative, qualitative, allocation, liquidity, and exposure constraints. Violations can trigger alerts, warnings, or transaction blocks.

Yes. Webfolio supports end-to-end order workflows—from trade initiation through execution, settlement, and reconciliation. It integrates with FIX and SWIFT protocols to communicate with brokers, custodians, and administrators.

Webfolio supports a comprehensive range of operations and corporate actions, including subscriptions, redemptions, rollups, transfers, equalizations, dividends, coupons, mergers, calls, distributions, and fee accruals.

Yes. Webfolio includes full fund accounting with multi-currency general ledger support, accruals, P&L attribution, and shadow accounting. It can also interface with external accounting systems.

Yes. Webfolio calculates estimated, official, and real-time NAVs, capturing all valuation components, including unrealized P&L, fees, leverage, and pending operations. Multiple daily valuations are supported.

Yes. Webfolio’s internal scheduler can automate recurring tasks such as valuations, reconciliations, data imports, and report generation. It also integrates with external schedulers when preferred.

Webfolio integrates CRM and document management tools for centralized handling of clients, contacts, tasks, and documents. Users can tag, search, and associate documents with portfolios or contacts, and automate document distribution via email, fax, or sFTP.

Yes. Webfolio includes a comprehensive performance, contribution and attribution module, supporting performance contribution, volatility contribution, performance attribution, and decomposition of returns by asset, sector, currency, or strategy. Results can be analyzed at any portfolio level, with or without look-through.

Absolutely. Users can assign benchmarks at the portfolio or asset level and perform relative performance, tracking error, and excess return analyses across multiple periods.

Webfolio provides extensive risk and analytics capabilities, including Value-at-Risk (VaR), volatility, correlation matrices, drawdownss, and scenario stress testing. Risk can be analyzed at both aggregated and look-through levels.

Yes. Look-through functionality is fully integrated across modules, allowing transparency from portfolios down to underlying funds, positions, and assets. Users can control the depth of transparency and generate reports with or without look-through layers.

Rules can be configured for ex-ante (pre-trade) and ex-post (post-trade) evaluation, using parameters such as exposure limits, asset types, liquidity, and risk metrics. Custom rules can also be scripted using JavaScript or Python.

Yes. Webfolio supports sophisticated fee structures, including management and incentive fees with high-water marks, hurdle rates, compounding, and catch-up mechanisms. Carried interest models for private equity and fund-of-funds are fully supported and can be automated.

Webfolio features a granular access control system based on user groups and permissions. Administrators can assign read, write, create, and delete rights per object (e.g., portfolios, accounts, operations) and restrict workflows, menus, and data views by role. DST maintains connectors with major financial counterparties, such as StateStreet, NorthernTrust, Caceis, Citco, HSBC, allowing straight-through processing of trades, reconciliations, and reporting. Integration covers trade confirmations, settlements, data imports, and NAV validations via FIX, SWIFT, or custom API connections.
Yes. Webfolio® includes robust integration capabilities with CRMs, ERPs, risk systems, and reporting engines. It connects seamlessly with custodians, administrators, and third-party tools using industry-standard protocols such as FIX and SWIFT.
Yes. Webfolio® provides secure Restfull/Json and SOAP/XML APIs for data integration, as well as ETL tools for creating custom data feeds. Data can also be exported in multiple formats, including Excel, Word, PDF, XML, CSV, and JSON.
