What is Webfolio®?
Webfolio® is a unified multi-asset portfolio management platform that consolidates equities, hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure in one place. It provides advanced performance measurement, risk analysis, due diligence workflows, fund accounting, trading, compliance monitoring, and automated reporting—all designed to give investment professionals a complete and transparent view of their portfolios.
What kind of businesses is Webfolio® designed for?
Webfolio® is designed for organizations that manage complex investment structures across multiple asset classes. This includes asset managers, institutional investors, family offices, pension funds, endowments, and service providers that require robust tools for modeling, risk management, reporting, and compliance oversight.
Do you support multi-entity structures and multi-jurisdiction portfolios?
Absolutely. Webfolio® supports complex structures such as Funds of Funds, SPVs, and multi-entity portfolios. It enables consolidation across custodians and administrators, provides full look-through analysis, and supports jurisdiction-specific compliance, accounting, and reporting requirements.
Is Webfolio transactional or holdings-based?
Webfolio® is a transaction-based system that also maintains full holdings data. All portfolio positions, valuations, and exposures are derived directly from underlying transactions (subscriptions, redemptions, trades, distributions, FX operations, etc.). This ensures a complete audit trail and enables accurate reconciliation, NAV calculation, and compliance monitoring at every level.
Which asset classes and instruments are supported (and which are not supported)
Webfolio® supports a wide range of asset classes and instruments, including equities, ETFs, Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Real Estate (Funds & Physical Buildings), Infrastructure Debts, Public and Private Fixed Income, Derivatives (Options, Futures, Swaps), FX, Loans and Certificates. The platform accommodates both public and private market instruments and supports custom asset types when required. Currently, purely digital assets such as cryptocurrencies are not natively supported but can be tracked through user-defined instruments.
Can you support investments into funds that have multiple tranches, classes or series and consolidate that data?
Yes. Webfolio® supports multi-class and multi-series structures with full transparency and consolidation. It can model master-feeder and multi-tranche funds, automatically propagating data and performing consolidated reporting across all layers.
Can we record holdings/exposure information for investments into funds and ETFs, and aggregate at the portfolio level?
Absolutely. Webfolio® allows users to record and monitor holdings and exposures at both asset and portfolio levels. Its look-through capabilities let you aggregate exposures across funds, ETFs, and direct holdings, ensuring consistent portfolio-wide analysis.
Can you manage the shareholder register for our investors?
Can you manage complex liquidity terms such as lockups, gates, long notice periods, illiquid positions?
Yes. The liquidity module supports complex redemption and subscription terms, including multi-tiered lockups, gates, notice periods, penalties, and flow restrictions. These parameters can be configured at the asset, position, or portfolio level.
